about production

Shaun’s Big Show is a beautifully crafted piece of family theatre with an incredibly talented cast of 11 dancers all marching to the beat of top West End Choreographer Bill Deamer. With a truly delightful and impressive set as well as magnificent costumes from Designer Susie Caulcutt, this unique and captivating show faithfully recreates Aardman’s world with an added twist of theatrical flair and Broadway razzmatazz.
Whether you’re 3 or 103 you can’t help but enjoy the crazy adventures of Shaun the Sheep as he and his friends attempt to put on a very special show for you, his guest, in a world where anything can and probably will happen. No dance genre is safe as David Wood and Bill Deamer artfully guide their flock on a breathtaking journey that takes in hilarious interpretations of everything from Riverdance to Swan Lake in a show that never fails to captivate and enchant. A fiendishly clever soundtrack arranged by Musical Director Simon Townley provides the bedrock for this wonderfully uplifting and mesmerising entertainment.

All your favourite characters from the hit BBC show will be there including Bitzer, Shirley, Timmy and the rest of the flock in this magical, fully choreographed music and dance extravaganza.

Shaun is stage struck and has decided to put on a very special show for all his friends, so get ready for some fabulous madcap mayhem as they dance and prance their way through a series of wonderful adventures under the nose of the short-sighted farmer.

This BAFTA award-winning BBC family favourite has been especially adapted for the stage by the 'National Children's Dramatist' David Wood (BFG, The Witches).
